Getting Started

Virtuosa is a student trading platform designed to connect buyers and sellers within campus communities. Students can buy, sell, and trade textbooks, electronics, clothing, services, and more in a safe and convenient environment.

Creating an account is simple! Click on "Sign In" at the top of the page, then select "Create Account". Fill in your email address, create a password, and verify your student email. You'll receive a confirmation email to activate your account.

Virtuosa is primarily designed for students, faculty, and staff within educational institutions. However, some campuses may allow alumni to participate. Check with your institution's specific guidelines.

Buying

To purchase an item: 1) Browse or search for products, 2) Click on the item you're interested in, 3) Review the details and seller information, 4) Click "Add to Cart" or "Buy Now", 5) Proceed to checkout and complete your payment, 6) Arrange pickup or delivery with the seller.

We accept various payment methods including credit/debit cards, PayPal, and campus cash where available. All transactions are processed securely through our payment partners.

You can contact sellers through our messaging system. Simply click on the product, then click "Contact Seller" to ask questions about the item, negotiate prices, or arrange pickup details.

Selling

To start selling: 1) Create or sign in to your account, 2) Click "Become a Seller" or go to your dashboard, 3) Complete the seller verification process, 4) Click "Add Product" and fill in the item details, 5) Upload clear photos and set your price, 6) Publish your listing.

Virtuosa charges a small commission on completed sales. The fee structure varies by item category and price range. Check our seller dashboard for detailed fee information. There are no listing fees.

Payments are processed securely through our platform. Once the buyer confirms receipt of the item, the payment (minus fees) is transferred to your linked bank account or PayPal account within 3-5 business days.

Safety & Security

We implement multiple safety measures: user verification, secure payment processing, rating systems, and dispute resolution. We also recommend meeting in public places for in-person exchanges and using our messaging system for all communications.

If you encounter issues, first try to resolve it directly with the seller through our messaging system. If that doesn't work, you can file a dispute through your order history. Our support team will mediate and help find a resolution.

Report suspicious activity by clicking the "Report" button on user profiles or listings, or contact our support team directly at support@virtuosa.com. We take all reports seriously and investigate promptly.

Technical Support

Click "Sign In" then "Forgot Password". Enter your email address, and we'll send you a password reset link. Follow the instructions in the email to create a new password.

Account verification may take 24-48 hours. Ensure you've provided a valid student email address and completed all required fields. If verification takes longer, contact support with your student ID and institution information.

To delete your account, go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. Please note that this action is permanent and cannot be undone. Any active listings will be removed, and transaction history may be retained for legal purposes.
